Community hospital part of a system looking to bring on Director Infection Control!

Responsibility and accountability for designing, implementing and directing of facility-wide infection control program. Responsibilities include surveillance, analysis, reporting, and recording activities as well as setting standards and evaluating compliance for practices that are associated with the prevention and control of health care associated infections. Provide a safe environment through the prevention of infection in patients, families, employees, and visitors.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing (required)
• Minimum 5 years in management of Infection Control Department.
• Current AHA BLS Provider
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC)
• Clinical competence and the ability to establish respect and rapport with peers, staff, physicians, and administration
• Must possess excellent oral, written and analytical skills
• Effective problem solving, conflict management and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of federal, state and regional requirements.
• FL Nursing License
