Job Title : Bilingual Worship Leader & Ministry Support

Reports to : Campus Pastor, Espaol

Location : Calvary Chapel Espaol, Melbourne, Florida

Type : Full-Time

Position Overview :

The Bilingual Worship Leader and Ministry Support is responsible for directing all aspects of worship and ministry support at the Espaol Campus. This includes leading worship for Wednesday and Sunday services, prayer services, and special events. The role also involves assisting in the arrangement of worship for various events and supporting all ministry needs within the church.

Applicants must be willing to make Calvary Chapel Espanol their home church with regular attendance.

Key Responsibilities :

Worship :

Organize and prepare for weekly rehearsals on Thursday, communicate any changes in schedules, and ensure team readiness (1 Corinthians 14 : 40).

Develop and maintain a volunteer worship team, organize rotations, and secure substitutes as needed, communicating regularly for planning and discipleship purposes (1 Peter 5 : 2-3).

Research new worship songs regularly and ensure all lyrics align with scriptural teachings.

Conduct auditions for band and vocal positions with the assistance of Espaol Pastors.

Possess the ability to play at least one instrument, read music charts and have a comprehensive understanding of music.

Stay updated with the latest music and sound technology.

Mentor new musicians and young worship leaders, offering encouragement and discipleship.

Work with the Worship Coordinator to prepare for services.

Attend meetings with other Worship Leaders and plan future worship sets

Ministry Support :

Assist in planning and executing special events such as Praise Nights, Easter, and Christmas services (Proverbs 16 : 3).

Provide administrative needs as needed.

Meet weekly with the Campus Pastor to review past services and plan upcoming ones.

Support the church ministries, ushers, production, sound, home groups and discipleship.

Help with preparation for services weekly.

Help maintain the Espaol social media.

Translate documents as needed.

Leadership :

Be available to lead or co-lead special services, facilitate and or teach small groups lessons and discussions, and devotionals as needed.

Develop Bible studies and engage with the Spanish-speaking community through outreach.

Travel to other campuses as required.

Other duties as assigned by the supervisor (Colossians 3 : 23).

Qualifications :

Calvary Chapel must be your home church with regular attendance.

Keep the ministry in the forefront of all you do, with a servant heart and optimistic attitude

(Philippians 2 : 3).

Conduct yourself in a manner that reinforces the core values and mission of Calvary Chapel and agree to our Statement of Faith.

Function as a productive part of the church staff and attend staff meetings in coordination with direct supervisor.

Demonstrate a mature, ongoing personal relationship with Jesus through spiritual and moral integrity.

Strong commitment to the vision and mission of Calvary Chapel Melbourne (John 13 : 34-35).

Must have a calling to be a worship leader and a passion for music and ministry.

Ability to lead, mentor, and teach others effectively.
