Skills Required : Acute Hospital Audits Concurrent Review Denials and Audits Retrospective chart review Management of Physician response Resolution of queries Review and resolve query markers Written Physician queries Diagnoses Lab results blood tests / urine tests Medications Nurses’ notes Operative reports Pathology reports Physician notes Physician orders Procedure notes X-ray / Radiographic procedures Communicates with clinicians to clarify documentation and query for specificity HIPAA guidelines (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) This is a Nurse Auditor position for Perioperative Services to review clinical and patient charge information.
