Responsibilities and Expectations :

Integrated Power Services is seeking self-motivated Protection & Control Technician that is willing to be hands on with our field services group.

• Physical wiring
• Verification of all non-factory wiring
• Commissioning of relays
• Setup and configuration of all network (LAN / WAN) equipment
• Verification of functionality of all equipment
• Responsible for job from start to finish
• Preplanning outages
• Working with local P&C Oversight / Engineering / Operations to determine and mitigate reduced or inadequate protection situations
• Planning and scheduling SCADA checkout
• Other job duties are as follows in the electrical maintenance and testing of equipment from the 480 volt level to the 345 kV level :
