However, our assistant store managers also lead departments and support the general manager. These managers' responsibilities may include managing assigned systems, like training, food safety, and inventory management, setting goals, delegating tasks to their teams, following up, and reporting results back to their crew and fellow managers. The ideal person for this position is : dependable, people-oriented, adaptable, experienced, a team player, and accountable. Prior McDonald's department manager experience is preferred.
