Evening Babysitter for Young Children

We are seeking a responsible and caring babysitter to care for two young children, ages 8 and 6, in Huntsville, AL. The position is for the evening of December 14, 2025, from midnight to 4 : 00 AM. Your main duties will include ensuring the children have their dinner, which will be ready upon your arrival, and adhering to their bedtime routine, with bedtime scheduled for 8 PM. Importantly, Lillian, the 8-year-old, requires gentle waking approximately an hour after falling asleep to help prevent night terrors.

The household includes two female tuxedo cats. They are shy and likely to stay hidden until the children are in bed, so interaction with them is minimal. These are indoor cats that are sweet but cautious with new people. No driving, feeding, or bathing duties are required. We are looking for someone who is gentle and attentive, maintaining a safe and comforting environment for the children throughout the night.
