Summary
Under direct supervision, will support, maintain, and implement design improvements for existing products. Provides high quality technical support and timely problem solving in support of sales, quality, supply chain, production, and test departments.
Typical Responsibilities :
- Updates 3D CAD part and assembly models in SolidWorks
- Using GD&T, creates / updates detail part and assembly drawings in accordance with ANSI Y 14.5M-2009.
- Initiates and implements engineering change orders (ECOs)
- Perform tolerance studies
- Provides technical support during assembly and test processes and generates support documents as needed
- Participates and provides dispositions in material review board meetings.
- Assist manufacturing engineering with the design of assembly tooling
- Lead root cause analysis and problem solving for production issues.
- Assist with reviewing, updating, and entering new product structures into the ERP system.
- Work with suppliers to reduce part costs and improve part quality.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities :
Four year degree in Mechanical Engineering (minimum)At least two to five years of experience with electromechanical components and assemblies (Preferred)Experience with RF products (Preferred)Experience with industry and material standards : Military specifications, ASTM, SAE / AMSExperience with configuration managementAbility to read, understand and ensure compliance to customer requirementsProficiet in SolidworksProficient in GD&TPhysical Requirements :

Pay Range : $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 annually
Bonus Eligible : This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
