EMS INSTRUCTOR COORDINATOR (PT)

Position Summary

Monroe County Community College is seeking a part-time EMS Instructor Coordinator to provide lead instruction for EMS Program courses.

Essential Job Functions

Under the general direction and in collaboration with the EMS Program Director, develops, modifies, delivers, evaluates, and coordinates curricular elements of EMS courses. Ensures courses comply with MDHHS requirements. Assists in evaluation and selection of EMS students, maintaining records as appropriate. Ensures availability of equipment and training aids and clinical placements. Counsels, remediates, and assists students as appropriate. Upon course completion, submits required documentation to Program Director.

Requirements

Minimum : Unencumbered EMS Instructor Coordinator License through the State of Michigan. Unencumbered Michigan EMS provider license at level of course being taught. One year experience as EMS provider at level of course being taught.

Preferred : Associate degree or higher in related field. AHA BLS, ACLS, and / or PALS Instructor. Prior teaching experience.
