Summary
Determines production part candidates for robotic welding application. Designs fixtures, programs robot software, and works with internal and external resources to increase efficiency, safety, and quality of robotically welded parts by performing the following duties.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
Minimum of Associate's Degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one year or more related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be proficient in MasterCam and Creo or Solidworks software and have working understanding of metal fabrication and machining processes. Prefer five years machining center work experience and 2-3 years programming.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid driver's license required for travel to customer facilities and / or training.
