Staff Accountant

The Keller Group is hiring a Staff Accountant for our growing client in the Scottsdale area. The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to full cycle accounting including monthly closing processes and reconciliations. They will be organized, detail oriented and approach each issue with an analytical mindset as well as being collaborative with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with operational accounting tasks, supporting timely month-end close activities and preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Perform reconciliations of bank statements and company accounts to ensure accuracy
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and consolidated financial statements
• Assist in special projects, including new system implementations, process improvements, and acquisitions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in public or corporate accounting
• CPA preferred but not required
• Possesses advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computerized ledger systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
