Clinical Nurse II - Orthopedics / Spine, 36 hrs / week, Days

Join our dedicated team in the Orthopedics & Spine Unit! We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Professional Nurse to enhance patient care and support during their journey to recovery.

As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for assessing, coordinating, planning, and directing patient care, ensuring a smooth transition throughout their episode of care.

Key Responsibilities :

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and document care as per policy and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions.
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patient needs and care responses.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment in all patient care management decisions.
• Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administer prescribed medications as directed.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.
• Guide and support ancillary personnel, maintaining high standards of professional nursing practice.
