About the Facility Location Upstate New York is filled with beautiful sights to see like Niagara Falls, Watkins Glenn State Park, and National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum! About the Clinician's Workday Coverage at this community site often includes pre-op, OR, PACU support, and occasional blocks. The schedule is Monday-Friday, with flexible 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, and post-call days off when required. Call is 1 : 3 to 1 : 4 MD beeper call. The practice includes 4 MDs and 3 CRNAs, with medical direction typically 1 MD supervising 2-3 CRNAs; MDs cover higher-acuity cases while CRNAs perform general, regional, and MAC cases within state scope. Cases are general anesthesia for General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Endoscopy, GI, and limited OB epidurals or labor analgesia as needed, with no major cardiac or trauma, and limited pediatrics (mostly older children). There are typically 5-6 ORs, and scheduled C-sections may require a spinal once or twice a month. Regional or OB experience is a plus but not required, as MDs cover OB during the day.
