Certified Payer Enrollment Specialist

A company is looking for a Revenue Cycle Payer Enrollment Specialist who will coordinate and manage the payer credentialing process for healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate, complete, and monitor the provider / facility payer credentialing process

Ensure all requisite licenses, malpractice coverage, and certifications are current for providers and facilities

Maintain files on providers and facilities, including information related to licensure and clinical practice disciplinary actions

Required Qualifications

Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Current Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional Medical Staff Management (CPMSM) certification, or obtain within two years of hire

Two years of healthcare experience

Preferred : One year of payer credentialing experience
