Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room - $3,379 per week in Burlingame, CA

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : CVOR Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 4x10-Hour; Mid 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift : 10 hours Experience : Minimum 2 years in Orthopedics / Vascular / Robotic Surgery; CVOR experience required. License : Valid RN Licensure Certifications : BLS, ACLS Must-Have : Experience with scrubbing is highly recommended. Description : Accountable for the assessment and coordination of nursing care. Delivers direct patient care and patient / family education. Conducts evaluations of care in an acute patient setting. Provides holistic and individualized care to all patients. Develops, implements, and coordinates a plan of care. Incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors into care. Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients and their support groups. Communicates effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers. Skills Required : Experience with Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortic Aneurysm repair, and Aortocaval fistula repair. Proficiency in ASD / VSD repair, Cardiomyoplasty, and Carotid Endarterectomy. Skilled in Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) and Endovascular Aneurysm Repair. Experienced in Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) and Mitral valve replacement. Trained in Scrub Cardiovascular Surgery and Scrub Vascular Surgery. Familiar with Valve Repair / Replacement and Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery (VATS). Additional Information : Requires specific amounts of experience. Travel experience is required. Charting system experience is needed, with a preference for Epic experience. Candidates must disclose background hits or DUIs before submission. Return staff policy applies after a year of absence.
