Portfolio Manager

East West Bank is currently seeking a Portfolio Manager for the Commercial Real Estate Banking team.

Responsibilities

  • Performs risk rating on new and existing loans Analyze financial statements addressing industry risks, collateral requirements, loan structuring, pricing and credit analysis for recommendation to manager on lending decisions
  • Make recommendation on structure of credit for approval

Credit monitoring

  • Develop solutions for problem loan credit
  • Responsible for credit risk and quality of portfolio

    • Portfolio Management

  • Perform maintenance on portfolio of loans
  • Maintain & expand client relationship
  • Manage loan renewal process

    • Business Development

  • Participate in community and business functions
  • Develop other deposits services relationship

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or combination of education and directly related experience
  • 2+ years of banking experience
  • Has strong understanding of credit policy and procedures and is able to accurately risk-rate loans / credits, evaluates both cash-flow and collateral-based loans / credits
  • Develop problem loan credit solutions
  • Has strong knowledge base in Treasury, FX and Derivative products and have demonstrated abilities in coordinating the resources of the bank to bring effective full service solutions to the company

    • Compensation

    The base pay range for this position is USD $75,000.00 / Yr. - USD $150,000.00 / Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
