[job_card.job_description]Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any security-related incidents or hazards to the appropriate personnel or authorities. Assist with access control by verifying credentials and / or visitor identification as required by site procedures. Document all incidents, observations, and activities in detailed and accurate reports as required by Allied Universal and site management. Support emergency response activities, including evacuations and / or medical incidents, while maintaining communication with Allied Universal supervisors and client contacts. At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
