This healthcare facility features an intermediate care unit specializing in the care of pulmonary, cardiac, and trauma patients. The unit serves patients requiring advanced airway management, including those with tracheostomies and ventilators, high flow oxygen, or BiPAP support. The patient population includes those on cardiac drips, with chest tubes and Zephyr valves, covering conditions from acute and chronic pulmonary disorders to various cardiac conditions including CHF, MI, unstable angina, and dysrhythmias. The unit also accommodates medical / surgical overflow patients and maintains comprehensive specialty support services.
