Job Description

As a Security Officer - Clearance Required Desk in Saint Louis, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Professional supporting an aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This role involves driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is required. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $23.27 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeMon07 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PMSun07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
