Base pay range

$70.00 / hr - $85.00 / hr

Role location Location : Pleasanton, CA or Vacaville, CA (Local to Bay Area – must be able to visit office as needed - Hybrid)

Responsibilities We are seeking a Network Architect with deep experience in enterprise network infrastructure , cloud networking , and network security . This role involves hands-on architecture, implementation, and support of network solutions across on-prem and cloud environments.

Hands-on expertise with F5 WAF and Load Balancers

Strong experience with AWS networking (VPC, EC2, ELB, Transit Gateway)

Implementation of DDoS solutions (Cloudflare or Akamai)

Management of Palo Alto GlobalProtect VPN

Experience with Cloudflare DDoS , Palo Alto, Cisco, and AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Route53, CloudFormation)

VOIP networking and SIP trunking

Scripting and automation (e.g., Ansible, Python )

Design and implement secure, high-performance network infrastructure

Manage projects from design to deployment

Lead network architecture planning and documentation

Troubleshoot performance, security, and connectivity issues

Collaborate cross-functionally to support enterprise initiatives

Provide 24 / 7 support and participate in capacity planning

Mentor and support junior engineers

Deep understanding of data center , collocation , and MPLS networks

Qualifications Experience in enterprise network infrastructure, cloud networking, and network security

Hands-on networking with AWS (VPC, EC2, ELB, Transit Gateway)

Experience with DDoS solutions (Cloudflare or Akamai) and DDoS protection

Knowledge of Palo Alto GlobalProtect VPN, Cloudflare DDoS, Cisco, and AWS services

VOIP networking and SIP trunking

Automation scripting (Ansible, Python)

Strong problem-solving, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration

Data center, colocation, and MPLS networking understanding
