We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Sonographer to join our team in Panama City FL. Position Overview : As a Sonographer you will be responsible for performing diagnostic medical sonography procedures using specialized equipment to capture images of various organs and tissues within the body. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities : - Perform diagnostic sonography procedures according to established protocols and physician requests - Use specialized equipment to capture high-quality images of organs and tissues - Analyze images to ensure optimal diagnostic quality - Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results - Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of all medical information - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment - Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities - Stay up-to-date with advancements in sonography technology and techniques Qualifications : - Associates degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sonographer - Strong knowledge of anatomy physiology and medical terminology - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment - Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed We Offer : - Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunities for professional development and growth - A supportive and collaborative work environment - The chance to make a positive impact on the lives of patients and their families If you are a skilled Sonographer looking for a new opportunity to grow and advance your career we encourage you to apply for this position.
