Quality Manager
Located : Lexington, NC
Pay : $85k-$95k base
Position Overview
The Quality Manager will oversee all quality assurance processes within the manufacturing facility, ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and safety in the food industry. This role is crucial for maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality management systems and processes to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Train and mentor staff on quality assurance procedures and best practices.
- Maintain documentation related to quality control and assurance, including reports and compliance records.
- Lead investigations into product quality failures and implement preventive measures.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management within the manufacturing sector, preferably in the food processing / manufacturing industry or similar.Strong knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements in food production.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and leadership abilities.Benefits
