Responsibilities

Operate CNC milling machines and other machining equipment to produce precision parts.

Set up and calibrate machines according to specifications and production requirements.

Interpret CAD drawings and SolidWorks models to ensure accurate machining processes.

Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any operational issues.

Utilize hand tools and basic math skills for measuring cutting and assembling components.

Collaborate with engineering teams to improve tooling and machining processes.

Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols at all times

Programming the machine

Experience

Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency with CNC programming languages.

Familiarity with tooling techniques and the ability to work with tight tolerances is required

Experience using CAD software for design purposes is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of machining processes including milling and turning operations.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team demonstrating excellent communication skills.

Experience using hand tools power tools tooling and assembly techniques.
