Qualifications: • Ability to inspect and test electronics to the semiconductor level - must be able to identify which component on a PCB is bad and replace it manually instead of throwing it out and installing a new board. • Experience with both SMT (surface-mount technology) and plug-in breadboards. • Experience soldering and desoldering small electronic components on PCBs. • Direct experience testing and troubleshooting communication networks in complex automated industrial manufacturing environments (fieldbus). • Experience with LabVIEW, MATLAB, or similar to test and simulate processes to identify problems with process machinery. • Hands-on experience with components such as servo drives, motors, actuators, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), valves, etc. Competitive compensation package with generous hourly rates and nearly unlimited overtime; many of our techs earn $150,000+.
