Petroleum Technician – Construction and Contracting Division
TTI Environmental, Inc. is an integrated environmental services contractor and consulting firm. TTI services government, industrial, commercial, academic, financial, and private clients nationwide and is headquartered in Moorestown, New Jersey. TTI is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Petroleum Technician in the Construction and Contracting Division. Knowledge of underground and aboveground petroleum equipment installations, upgrades, repairs, closures and general environmental construction, concrete, excavation, etc. is required. This is an on-site position – traveling and working in the field.
Petroleum Technician Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites each day by preparing materials, tools, and equipment
- Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Follow instructions and use tools and equipment to complete daily tasks
- Follow all health and safety regulations and PPE requirements
- Assist foreman, supervisors, crew workers, as needed
- Ensure construction equipment and tools are maintained and stored properly
Petroleum Technician Qualifications / Requirements
Minimum of 2 years’ field experience with petroleum equipment systems is requiredExperience on construction sites and ability to follow and demonstrate basic safety principlesExperience with piping systems, spill, overfill and secondary containment systemsKnowledge of monitoring systems, and fuel management systemsAt least 18 years oldConstruction OSHA 10 or OSHA HAZWOPER Certification is preferredThe ability to travel and work at remote sites as neededLocal and extended travel is requiredMust be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditionsLocal travel is requiredValid driver’s license and ability to successfully pass a pre-employment screen and physicalMust be a US citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipTTI is a growing and dynamic team environment with excellent benefits and advantages.
