At Steel Tool & Engineering Co., your eye for detail keeps aerospace components mission-ready. As a full-time, day-shift Quality Inspector, you’ll translate blueprints into precise inspections, apply GD&T with confidence, and document results in our paperless quality system.

A day in the life

• Review engineering drawings and specifications; interpret GD&T to plan inspections.
• Perform surface plate layout and dimensional checks using micrometers, calipers, and a height gage.
• Record findings accurately in a paperless environment and collaborate with production to resolve issues.
• Support DSQR-related activities and ensure parts meet aerospace standards before release.
