Department : Quality Management
The Data Analytics Manager reports to the Vice President of Quality and Risk Management.
The role is responsible for the advancement and implementation of analytic tools and solutions to measure and benchmark performance in data-driven safety and quality strategic priorities, regulatory compliance, and continuous performance improvement.
Collaborates across executive, clinical, operational, and informatics teams to transform data into actionable insights that enhance care delivery, patient outcomes, and safety performance.
Mentor and actively support professional development of team members with emphasis on health data analytics and performance improvement science.

Requirements :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Clinical Informatics or a related field required.
Master's degree preferred.
Licensure : Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or equivalent certification preferred.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred.
Experience : Three (3) years progressively responsible and directly related leadership experience.
Five (5) years' experience in healthcare quality, data analytics or patient safety, preferably in an acute care hospital setting.
Proficiency in SQL, Excel and analytics platforms (e.g.
Tableau, Power BI); familiarity with EHR data structures and reporting tools (Epic preferred), benchmarking software maintenance and dashboards (e.g.
Vizient).
In-depth knowledge of Joint Commission standards, CMS quality reporting, and California-specific healthcare regulatory requirements.
Experience with incident reporting and risk management systems preferred.
Essential Technical / Motor Skills : Working knowledge of statistics and ability to utilize computer programs, spreadsheets, database software, analysis and report writing.
(Effective use of Microsoft products : Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other software utilized for benchmarking or report tracking.
Effective time- management and multitasking skills, Ability to learn new data management systems to illustrate and interpret statistical data in meaningful way.
Effective writing skills and meeting management skills.
Interpersonal Skills : Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills to engage multidisciplinary teams effectively.
Effective listening and collaboration skills.
Ability to effectively influence others.
Pay Range : The hourly rate for this position is $76.07 - $104.59.
The range displayed on this job posting reflects the target for new hire salaries for this position.
