• Full-time## Job DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated Jr. Web Developer to assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coding, web design, and problem-solving, and will play a key role in supporting our Zawyer Sports Marketing team to deliver high-quality websites and applications. You will collaborate with designers, marketing team, and project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet both client and team needs.\
• Responsibilities \
• Assist in the design, coding, testing, and deployment of websites and web applications
• Maintain and update existing websites to ensure functionality, security, and usability
• Collaborate with team to implement new features and improvements
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance across multiple browsers and devices
• Support integration of third-party tools, APIs, and plugins
• Work closely with the design team to translate UI / UX wireframes into responsive, user-friendly web pages
• Ensure websites meet accessibility and SEO best practices
• Stay current with emerging web technologies and recommend improvements
• Provide documentation for code, workflows, and technical processes
• Incorporate feedback from team members and project leads
• Maintain website content by making timely edits, updates, and additions to ensure accuracy and relevance
• Regularly audit site content to identify outdated information, broken links, or formatting issues
• Support marketing and communications teams by publishing blog posts, news items, and promotional content
• Create, customize, and manage Shopify websites as needed, including product updates, theme adjustments, and app integrations\
• Skills \
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks (such as React, Vue, or Angular) a plus
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques
• Exposure to back-end technologies (PHP, Node.js, Python, etc.) preferred but not required
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and time-management abilities
• Knowledge of SQL databases is a plus
• BS / BA in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field preferred
