Low Voltage Electrician I

Responsible for the layout, installation, repair and maintenance of various electrical telecommunication systems that provide power for machines, equipment, lighting and facilities in accordance with codes, regulations and safety. Will be required to make periodic preventative maintenance inspections of all electrical equipment, looking for potential trouble. Will clean, lubricate, replace and adjust equipment as conditions indicate. Work will include the complete installation and maintenance of industrial electrical systems and equipment used in the treatment of wastewater and related ancillary systems. Must be available for emergencies / job assignments on a 24-hour basis.

Minimum Requirements :

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position.
• Must have an in-depth knowledge of electrical theory, including the layout, installation, maintenance and repair of industrial electrical systems and equipment used in the treatment of wastewater.
• Must have the aptitude to learn, install, maintain, and repair a wide variety of industrial electrical and telecommunication systems.
• Must have the ability to set up work tasks, as well as have an in-depth knowledge of electrical theory.

Physical Demands :

The expected base pay range is $94,465 to $118,020. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, education, training, and formal credentials.
