As a valued colleague on our team, you will collaborate with both internal and external partner stakeholders to manage the administration, strategic planning, and other activities of an assigned portfolio of Multifamily loans. In this role, you will also provide expertise to evaluate and create business processes to assist in the implementation of solutions for the asset management of new Multifamily loan products.
The Multifamily Asset Management Advisor role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities :
- Support a portfolio's vision and strategic objectives. Lead portfolio progress analysis and enact changes, along with reporting portfolio performance to key stakeholders.
- Evaluate risk of current assets, while complying with governance and controls.
- Monitor the end-to-end execution of business processes using enterprise systems, as well as provide continuous feedback for effective tracking and reporting.
- Recommend business process changes and implement efficient processes for the management of new business products.
- Effectively evaluate legal documents and other applicable forms to understand business impact and ensure continuity of loan management.
The experience you bring to the team :
Minimum required experience :6 years of Multifamily or commercial real estate experience, preferably in asset management, financial reporting or underwritingMultifamily Loan Management skills to include evaluating loan requests, classifying loan risk, identifying fraud, and underwriting loansExperience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questionsRisk assessment and management skills including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, and remediating noncomplianceRelationship management skills including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, and building relationship networksIn depth knowledge of Multifamily real estate financeIn depth knowledge of Fannie Mae's Delegated Underwriting and Servicing model preferredDesired experience :Bachelor's degree or equivalentFinancial institutional experience around mortgage risk managementProficient with or able to quickly learn systems and software used by the organizationAdvanced Excel skills; able to create and manipulate pivot tables, create macros, and use lookupsExcellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate with management and external users clearly and succinctlyExcellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate with a teamAbility to multi-task and switch gears quicklyExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills; quick learner who will ask questions, research existing documentation and understand the ecosystemExcellent organizational skills and strong attention to detailAbility to act as an independent operator with minimal supervisionBusiness insight skills including advising, designing business models, interpreting customer and market insights, forecasting, and benchmarkingExperience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questionsInfluencing skills including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflictExperience identifying and selecting strategic options and identifying resources to meet the defined objectivesExperience evaluating businesses, projects, budgets, and other financial entities or instruments to determine viability, stability, and performanceSkilled in presenting information and / or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understandAdept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion.Target pay range : $138,000 - $180,000 a year
