Job Description

As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Driver in Eden Prairie, MN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with staff and visitors to provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to make a positive impact in a dynamic environment that values teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations when needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of those at the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions, maintaining detailed documentation as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and patients while upholding the standards of Allied Universal at the healthcare location.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and visitor flow as outlined in site-specific procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
