Position Summary :

This management role reports to and collaborates closely with the Head of Software Engineering to empower Bentley’s platform software development teams to do their best work and continuously ship meaningful software that impacts the world and our business.

Responsibilities :

• Manage and lead a team of engineers responsible for the Platform’s 3D Runtimes & Pipelines development team
• Oversee the development team responsible for the native 3D capabilities of the iTwin and Cesium platforms, including the development and maintenance of 3D tiling pipelines and Cesium plugins for game engines like Unreal and Unity.
• Work directly with the Head of Engineering to support overall professional growth, including recruiting, training, mentoring, and performance management of the team.  Work closely with the Division Chief Technology Officer (DCTO) to execute robust and scalable architecture.
• Facilitates a culture of openness and collaboration, internally within and among teams, and externally with the open-source community that we serve
• Collaborates cross-functionally, especially with Product Management, to execute the roadmap
• Runs the systems and processes to enable us to continuously ship high-quality software that users want while transparently engaging all stakeholders
