DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensures that all actions are in concert with the Board policies as well as the mission statement, beliefs, objectives, and parameters found in the Board's strategic plan.
- Participates in job training and professional growth opportunities in order to enhance ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
- Collaborates with the Facilities and Operations departments to ensure seamless coordination and implementation of physical security projects, including alarms, cameras, keyless access, and other necessary initiatives within the work order system.
- Handles Alarm Code management, maintaining a precise roster of codes, liaising with our alarm monitoring service, and effectively addressing nuisance alarms to ensure a streamlined and secure system.
- Administers the access level aspect of keyless access control and collaborates with Human Resources to offer assistance and guidance on access control policies.
- Maintains adequate badging supplies for the district.
- Serves as the security dispatcher for the district, ensuring a comprehensive overview of security events and facilitating communication between the security personnel and the police force to maintain a unified and effective response system.
- Manages the Restitution Program ensuring accurate invoicing is coordinated between schools, courts, and the Finance Department.
- Ensures timely and accurate reporting of incidents to the appropriate authorities and stakeholders.
- Archives video for disciplinary matters and criminal activity.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of response efforts and makes recommendations for improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS: Associate or bachelor's degree in public safety or a related field. Strong knowledge of emergency response protocols, incident command systems, and crisis communication. Proven experience in coordinating emergency response efforts, preferably in an educational setting.

WORK CALENDAR: 12 Months
WORKING CONDITIONS: Moderate in-district travel as well as intermittent in-state and out-of-state travel. Intermittent prolonged and irregular hours of work.
