Pierce Group Benefits is currently the largest provider of employee benefits consulting and administration in North Carolina’s public sector. Our firm is a full-service employee benefits brokerage that builds comprehensive benefits packages for employers in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. As our company continues to grow at a rapid pace, so do the opportunities for our current and future employees to learn and mentor with top leadership for continued professional and personal development.

We are currently searching for a self-motivated and customer-oriented individual with excellent communication and multi-tasking skills to join our staff as an Account Executive.  This is a remote position based out of Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina.

How you'll make an impact

• Provide sales support and service to existing client base throughout Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina
• Confirm benefits to be communicated to clients
• Prepare / obtain employee enrollment materials
• Coordinate open enrollment period from start to finish
• Communicate accurately and timely with internal and external stakeholders
• Organize the enrollment team and supervise the process
• Act as liaison between client and insurance companies to resolve service issues
• Resolve billing, claim, eligibility, and other service issues
• Build and maintain client relationships
• Place new products within accounts
• Completing special projects as assigned
• Following company procedures concerning all essential duties and responsibilities
• Other duties as assigned

About You

Required : Bachelor's degree with 3+ years client service and / or claims management experience -OR- High School degree / GED with 8+ years client service and / or claims management experience. Producer's License. Ability to travel up to 75% of the time. Onsite client visits are required within NC, SC, and candidate should live in NC, SC, or VA.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Appropriate licensing as required.

Preferred : Previous insurance knowledge and experience managing client relationships. Solid financial acumen.

Compensation and benefits

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market / geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business / practice area, supply / demand, and scheduled hours.
