Expected salary range for this position is $140,000 - $150,000 depending on experience.

DESCRIPTION :

As a Senior Project Engineer at Fisk Electric, reporting to the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on California High Speed Rail projects. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-profile infrastructure project and gain valuable experience in complex transit system construction.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Track, review, and process Change Proposal Requests, Change Orders, Owner Payment Applications, and, if applicable, claims
• Monitor job costs, maintain accurate reports, and assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in preparing quantity reports, analyzing labor costs, and completing quarterly profit project records
• Manage the preparation and execution of the Project Closeout process
• Research and propose solutions to quality control issues
• Verify that all completed work complies with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications
• Work with foremen and superintendents to ensure that work is completed per the project schedule
• Create weekly schedules to plan and track construction activities
• Coordinate with field supervision to ensure materials are received, inspected, and ready for incorporation into the work
• Assist with the management of subcontractors and monitor progress of their work
• Create and manage RFIs, Submittals, and Field Plans for upcoming work
• Provide support to the project leadership as needed.
