Laboratory Technician

Our client, a leading innovator in industrial and manufacturing solutions, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Research & Development department supporting the Abrasive Systems Division. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Maplewood, MN 100% onsite

Pay Range: $18 to $22 p/h on w-2 basis
Duration: 12 month contracgt

What's the Job?

• Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and experiments on industrial products, following established protocols and procedures
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate multiple pieces of equipment used in the preparation and testing of abrasive samples
• Prepare and characterize samples and resins using prescribed formulations and test methods while adhering to strict safety guidelines
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data accurately and efficiently
• Document and report test results, ensuring accuracy and completeness

What's Needed?

• At least 1 year of experience working in a laboratory setting in a private, public, academic, government, or military environment
• Reliable transportation to the on-site location in Maplewood, MN
• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution (required)
• Strong technical and/or mechanical background (preferred)
• Experience with pilot or production manufacturing equipment (preferred)
