The Program Manager is in charge of planning, carrying out, and keeping an eye on complicated programs to make sure they are in line with the organization's goals, budgets, and deadlines. This remote job requires you to manage cross-functional teams, coordinate several projects, reduce risks, and deliver measurable results. The Program Manager is the main point of contact between stakeholders, executive leadership, and project teams. They make sure that program goals are met in the best way possible.
Main Duties :
Set goals, scope, and success metrics for the program that are in line with the goals of the organization.
Make detailed plans for the program, including timelines, budgets, and how to use resources.
Manage and coordinate several projects under the program, making sure they are finished on time and meet quality standards.
Keep an eye on how well the program is doing, keep track of important milestones, and send out regular status reports to stakeholders and leaders.
Find, evaluate, and proactively reduce program risks and problems
Oversee the performance of cross-functional teams and give them guidance and support.
Make it easier for stakeholders to talk to each other and make sure that everyone is on the same page and that the program is open and honest.
Make sure that all policies, rules, and contracts are followed by the organization.
Make changes to the way things are done to make the program work better and more efficiently.
Help with the evaluation of the program after it is over, including lessons learned, documentation, and reporting
Needed Skills :
A bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, engineering, or a related field is required (a master's degree is preferred).
At least 5–7 years of experience managing programs or projects
Proven ability to run complicated, cross-functional programs in remote or distributed settings
Strong skills in leadership, communication, and managing stakeholders
Knowledge of project management tools like MS Project, Asana, Jira, or something similar
Showed that they can effectively manage budgets, resources, and timelines
Good at analyzing, solving problems, and making decisions
Ability to work alone and lead teams that are not in the same place
Preferred Skills :
Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or something similar
Experience in technology, healthcare, finance, or other fields that are regulated
Knowing about Agile, Lean, or other ways to manage projects
Experience with KPIs, dashboards, and program reporting
Pay for the Year :
Based on experience, industry, and location, the salary range is $95,000 to $140,000 per year.
