Cost Analyst, Junior

Position Summary :

HunaTek is seeking candidates for contingent Junior Cost Analyst positions in support of the United States Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM). Ideal applicants are performance driven individuals with strong cost analysis experience to work closely with the Government client. Qualified candidates will have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills.

Essential Job Functions :

The Cost Analyst position will include, but not be limited to, the following capabilities :

• Support program office and lifecycle cost estimate activities.
• Assist, develop, update, and apply mathematical and logical methodologies for estimating program costs.
• Develop, update, manipulate, and maintain cost and affordability models.
• Support efforts in collecting, normalizing, and analyzing complex data.
• Build and defend budget requirements.
• Forecast future funding needs.
• Evaluate contracting strategy and courses of action.
• Conduct planning for acquisition of capabilities.
• Identify sustainment cost impacts of acquisition decisions.
• Identify interface maintenance funding requirements for all affected platforms / systems.
• Manage solution delivery to a baselined schedule.
• Provide a basis and supporting materials for briefings to management at the executive and oversight levels for all affected program / project funding requirements.
• Work autonomously and as part of a team to meet organizational and project goals.
• Lead in the preparation of briefing materials and other communications packages presenting the results of analysis.
• Communicate and work with diverse organizations and representatives for data collection, analysis, and results presentation.

Pay Range : $80,000 - $120,000 per year
