Job Description
A large public-sector enterprise is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to configure, enhance, and optimize CI / CD pipelines within Azure DevOps . This role focuses on automation, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and secure deployment strategies across on-premises and multi-cloud environments . The selected resource will collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to modernize release processes and improve deployment reliability across enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
Configure, maintain, and optimize CI / CD pipelines and approval workflows in Azure DevOpsDevelop and maintain YAML-based pipelines to support scalable automation and consistencySupport deployments across on-premises, Azure, and multi-cloud environmentsImplement Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ) solutions for automated provisioning and lifecycle managementEnforce source control best practices using Git and TFSVCBuild and integrate monitoring and observability solutions , including alerts, dashboards, and availability reportingImplement security tooling and code scanning to support secure and compliant deliveryContinuously improve pipeline performance, reduce build times, and enhance deployment efficiencyArchitect and support modern deployment strategies including blue-green, canary, and phased rolloutsPartner with developers, QA, and operations teams to streamline release workflowsQualifications and Requirements
Proven hands-on experience with Azure DevOps build and release pipelinesStrong understanding of CI / CD best practices across backend, frontend, and full-stack applicationsExperience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or equivalentProficiency in scripting languages including PowerShell, Python, and BashExperience supporting on-premises and multi-cloud DevOps environmentsFamiliarity with monitoring platforms such as Azure Monitor and AWS CloudWatchKnowledge of DevOps security best practices, including identity management, secrets handling, and vulnerability scanningExperience working in an agile development environmentMust meet CJIS clearance requirementsAdditional Requirements
