Description : The Position :

As a Server at Scarlet Oak Tavern, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidates will have a passion for food, exceptional customer service skills, and a positive attitude. If you are a customer-focused and reliable individual with a passion for food service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Server candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of serving experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant and expect to work 4-5 shifts per week.

Responsibilities :

  • Greet guests and provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Take food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff using our POS.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Check on guests frequently to ensure their needs are met and they are enjoying their experience.
  • Provide recommendations for menu items and specials, and beverages.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.

Requirements :

  • Minimum of 1 year of serving experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, carry a tray, and lift 30lbs
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
