Associate Dentist

Associate Dentist :

We are hiring an Associate Dentist for our team at Comfort Dental Raytown. NEW GRADS WELCOME!!! There is a path to ownership for the right candidate! We have flexible hours as well. As a member of our practice, you will be responsible for providing professional dental care for patients, consisting of oral examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of dental issues and diseases. You will perform preventative and diagnostic dental treatments, order X-rays, perform cleanings, teeth whitening, dental fillings, cavity excavation and tooth decay treatments, crown, bridges, dentures, root canals, implants, etc. along with prescribing appropriate medications (as needed), along with educating patients on proper oral care and hygiene. and others.

To be successful as an Associate Dentist, you should have extensive dentistry and oral hygiene knowledge, as well as attention to detail, communication, compassion, and organizational skills.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Provide quality and professional dental care to patients by completing oral examinations, diagnosing, and treating dental problems
• Examine patients' teeth and gums to diagnose oral health issues
• Conduct preventative and diagnostic dental treatments, such as cleaning, whitening, extractions, dental fillings, caries removal, and tooth decay treatments, etc
• Perform cosmetic dental procedures, such as crowns, bridges, dentures, implants, etc
• Order X-rays and diagnostic tests to help with examination and diagnosis
• Develop treatment plans and follow-up care to ensure the proper healing process
• Educate and advise patients on proper oral care techniques and hygiene
• Administer local anesthesia and prescribe antibiotics and pain medications as needed and / or necessary
• Collect patient information and maintain patient records
• Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure patients receive the best care
• Maintain clean and sanitized dental equipment and instruments
• Ensure a neat, safe, and comfortable environment for both patients and employees
