Certified Coding Specialist

A company is looking for a ProFee Edits / Rejections Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Review medical records for accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures

Resolve front-end edits and back-end denials to ensure timely claim submissions

Maintain a daily log of edits and denials, documenting resolutions and trends

Required Qualifications

Active RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, or CPC credential

Minimum of three years of physician-based coding or billing edit / denial experience

Knowledge of hospital and / or physician billing systems

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHR systems

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
