Underwriter, Cyber / Tech E&O

We are excited to be seeking an Underwriter on the Pacific North Chubb Cyber team, in San Francisco. We are looking for a candidate eager to foster strong broker and agent relationships in the region, technical underwriting acumen, and a desire to grow the Chubb Cyber portfolio. As an industry leader in the space for the last 25+ years, we are very excited to continue growing the team.

Duties may include but are not limited to :

• Solicits new and renewal submissions from brokers
• Conducts marketing meetings, office visits and events to source business
• Determines terms and conditions and complex rating plans
• Binds coverage
• Documents the underwriting files
• 1 - 2 years underwriting experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree
• Ability to develop strong understanding of Cyber and Tech E&O insurance products.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in sales, marketing, and negotiation.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.

Critical Competencies :

The pay range for the role is $96,000 to $144,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
