Elementary Permanent Substitute Teacher - Private School

Elementary PERMANENT SUBSTITUTTE Teacher opportunity available with a private school in the north Miami, Florida area.

This elementary teacher will work PART-TIME every school day from 12 : 00pm - 4 : 00pm, serving grades K-5.

• Minimal lesson planning and grading required, BUT EFFECTIVE CLASSROOM TEACHING IS EXPECTED.

Self-Contained classroom teaching includes the core subjects of math and Language Arts / Reading.  Small class sizes. Supportive administration and parents.

Ideal candidates will have a BA degree in Elementary Education, teacher certification and 2+ years of successful teaching experience. MA degree is a plus but not required.

MUST  love teaching elementary grade students and know how to connect with them.

Salary range is $25,000-$27,000 for this half-time position.
