Recruiting Assistant
We are currently recruiting for an outgoing and hard working recruiting assistant to join our team! This internal recruiting assistant opening is perfect for someone who is looking to become a recruiter or someone who loves meeting people and helping them achieve their career goals! Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing efficient, professional, and personable support to office staff and the Human Resources team, assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and day-to-day administrative tasks, while contributing to a positive and organized work environment.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure voicemail, email messages, and interoffice paging are handled promptly and professionally.
- Greet all visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Provide recruiting support, including maintaining employee records, updating candidate status, processing terminations, and assisting with new hire documentation.
- Collect employee information for reports and statistical research to support compliance with labor laws, internal policies, HR audits, and legal documentation.
- Enter interview details and candidate information into the company's Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Support functional areas of the Human Resources department, including recruitment and employment, personnel records, and employee and / or labor relations.
- Assist with candidate screening and interview scheduling, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
- Create and post job advertisements to attract qualified candidates.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including I-9 verifications, background checks, and reference / education verifications, while ensuring all required paperwork, training materials, and introductions are completed.
- Manage employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates to reflect changes in status or personal information.
- Support compliance efforts by verifying that background checks, reference checks, and other required processes are completed according to legal and company standards.
- Assist in training and mentoring interns, sharing knowledge of company processes and supporting their integration into the organization.
