Chipton-Ross is seeking a Human Resources Assistant 2 for a contract opportunity in Newport News, VA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or experience.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs a variety of general personnel/clerical tasks in such areas as employee records, benefits, education/training, employment, compensation, and equal employment opportunity.
• Maintains both manual and automated personnel records, collects and compiles sensitive and confidential personnel statistics and prepares reports. In accordance with procedures, furnishes information to authorized persons and/or agencies.
• Provides information to all levels of employees regarding personnel policies and procedures.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:

5/40 work week. Monday - Friday, First Shift 7:30AM-4:00 PM

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
