Position Summary :
The Order Systems Manager oversees the accurate and timely processing of customer orders, ensuring alignment with company policies and customer expectations. This role is responsible for managing the order entry team, optimizing workflows, and collaborating cross-functionally with purchasing, logistics, and customer service to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the order entry team, including hiring, training, performance management, and development.
- Ensure all customer orders are entered accurately and processed within established timelines.
- Monitor order flow and proactively resolve discrepancies, delays, or issues.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Customer Service, and Logistics teams to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for order entry processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with evolving business needs.
- Analyze order data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and company policies.
- Support ERP system enhancements and participate in system testing and implementation.
- Provide regular reporting on order metrics, team performance, and process improvements.
Qualifications :
5+ years of experience in order entry, customer service, or supply chain operations.2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.Strong knowledge of Business / ERP systems (e.g., Acumatica, NetSuite, Hubspot).Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.Preferred Skills :
Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.Lean or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
