Job Title : Word Processor (Legal Document Services Specialist)
Location : Century City, CA
Job Type : Temporary-to-Hire
Pay : $35–$40 / hr
Overview :
A prestigious law firm in Century City is seeking a highly skilled Word Processor to join their team on a temporary-to-hire basis. This role supports attorneys and staff with document production, formatting, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create, edit, and format legal documents, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations
- Generate tables of contents and tables of authorities
- Prepare and submit e-filings and chambers copies
- Perform basic paralegal tasks such as binder creation and document binding
- Convert and clean up corrupted documents
- Handle switchboard and reception duties after hours
- Coordinate with outside vendors (e.g., copy and messenger services)
- Support ad hoc administrative and document-related projects
Required Skills & Experience :
