As a Claims Advocate, you'll be a vital subject matter expert, overseeing the resolution of complex client claims, providing essential coverage guidance, and advising both clients and team members - all within a culture where your dedication contributes directly to your financial future and the agency's continued success.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Provide claims-perspective guidance to servicing and production teams throughout the renewal, as applicable
  • Serve as primary point of contact and expert for clients, adjusters, external stakeholders, and agency employees on matters relating to specific claims or the overall claims process
  • Assist clients with reporting new claims, gathering required documentation, and understanding coverage, next steps, and timelines.
  • Review claim status regularly and provide proactive updates to clients and the claims team.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients in all claim disputes, cases, and challenges.
  • Act as a Liase between clients and carriers when disagreements arise.
  • Ensure claims are handled in compliance with carrier guidelines, regulatory requirements, and agency standards.
  • Coordinate between clients, carriers, adjusters, and claims team to facilitate smooth claims handling and reduce delays.
  • All other duties as assigned.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Insurance and/or claims experience required
  • P&C license to be obtained within 90 days of hire (funded by Winter-Dent)
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 products preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
