Description :

The Patient Screener will aid in the care of patients, within the associate’s scope of knowledge. The Patient Screener’s role is neither to diagnose conditions nor prescribe treatments, but rather to gather patient information on behalf of the physician, in an accurate, concise and professional manner, to facilitate the management of the patient by the physician.

Requirements :

• Collect accurate and concise Patient and Family Medical History and other pertinent visit data, while always observing HIPAA guidelines and patient rights
• Perform accurate blood pressure measurements, utilizing proper technique per clinic / manufacturer guidelines
• Perform HbA1c rapid testing, utilizing proper technique as per clinic / manufacturer guidelines
• Communicate in a friendly, courteous and professional manner
• Basic computer skills
