Position Description:
This position, under the direct supervision of a certified teacher will support students in the general education and/or special education classrooms and programs at both the elementary and secondary levels. Reliability and schedule availability throughout the school year are expected for this position.

Responsibilities May Include:

• Assisting and supporting the teacher(s) in the classroom setting
• Assisting with supervision of student(s) across various settings throughout the school day
• Assisting and supporting student(s) with academic and behavioral needs
• Working collaboratively with faculty and staff

Skills:

• Good communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
• Patience and flexibility to adapt to various classroom/student needs
• Scheduling availability and flexibility

Qualifications:

• Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma
• Must have prior experience working with children
• Reliability and schedule availability throughout the school year are expected
